This machine is a cylindrical external vacuum permanent magnet filter with upper feeding. It is mainly suitable for dehydrating coarser particles and strong magnetic materials.
The inside of the cylinder is equipped with a strontium ferrite permanent magnet system, which can promote the rapid adsorption of magnetic particles to the surface of the filter cloth. The magnetic filter is mainly used to dehydrate coarse-grained strong magnetic mineral concentrate slurry. Since it is fed from the upper part, The effect of stratification of concentrates according to particle size in the filter cake is more prominent. When the magnetic concentrate forms a filter cake, the particles are affected by the magnetic force of gravity at the same time. The coarse-grained concentrate moves toward the filter cloth faster than the fine-grained concentrate, and the fine particles The filter cloth is first contacted, so the filter cake has good air permeability, and the magnetic particles in the slurry are radially distributed on the surface of the cylinder under the magnetic attraction and produce magnetic agitation due to the change of magnetic polarity, which makes the filter cake easy to dehydrate. The favorable conditions make the filter cake thick and air-permeable, which significantly improves productivity. Compared with the cylindrical vacuum filter of the same specification, its efficiency is increased by more than three times.
The specific magnetization coefficient of the solid particles in the slurry of this machine is not less than 3000x10-6 cm3/g, and the particle size is 0.15-0.18 mm. The feed concentration is 60%.
